Over the past few years, I have become passionate about understanding why some patients continue to have whiplash symptoms long after their accident. In 2016, I became aware of a type of cervical instability that I was not previously familiar with- alar ligament laxity. I have worked to better understand this diagnosis.
In part due to this interest, I was recently asked to headline a symposium hosted by the Swedish Neck Injury Association (Nackskadeförbundet) held on 7 May 2022 in Stockholm, Sweden. This was an outstanding symposium!
